2 Day Mixed Media Abstract Watercolor Workshop

October 13 & 14 (Fri & Sat)
Location- Linda’s Studio, Idaho Falls, ID

 

Join us for a 2 Day Art Adventure in Idaho Falls, ID.
We will be painting and creating art from 9:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the evening. Bring a sack lunch!

If you are new or an expert to mixed media – abstract, this will be a fun 2 days to experience the “What If” of abstractions. You will “Play” with strategic intent. Sharing my methods and unique use of materials, you can work in realism or abstracts.  

Those of you following my work have noticed my expanding directions in watercolor and mixed media. I am excited to share new introductions to abstracts and how to think & create like an artist…

  • Develop your sense of adventure with watercolor, acrylic & mixed media.
  • Come play with texture, composition & color in new, exciting ways.
  • Open new territory.
  • Be prepared to learn with strategic abandonment.
  • Work in realism or abstractions.
  • Take your art to a new level with guidance from demonstrations and detailed instruction.

You will have a wide variety of choice in materials. I supply substrates and art materials for two special projects, mixed media, collage papers, mediums, etc.
 
You will create new textures on your painting and on other surfaces to add to your painting.
 
Bring all your painting materials, paints, surfaces you like to work on (watercolor paper, wood panels, aquabord, etc.) You can work in watercolor or acrylic or a mix of both.
